Heavenly Father,
teach us to love You with all
our hearts and to love our neighbours as You love us.
Open our eyes to those who
are lonely, suffering or in need,
and give us compassionate
hearts, forgiving spirits
and generous hands.
May our words bring comfort,
our actions bring hope, and
our lives reflect Your love.

In this Sunday's Gospel (Matthew 22:34-40), Jesus reminds us that
the heart of our Christian faith is love: love of God and love of our neighbour. These two commandments are inseparable, for our love for God must be reflected in the way we treat one another.
Sometimes, loving our neighbour means offering a helping hand, listening with patience, forgiving a hurt, or simply being present to someone who feels forgotten. It is often through these small, everyday acts of kindness that God's love becomes real in the lives of others.
As we go about our daily lives, may we remember that holiness is not only found in prayer, but also in the love we share. Let our faith be seen by how we love, for the greatest witness to God is a heart that loves as He loves

OCTOBER IS MISSION MONTH. The Second Collection during the month of October is for Ponitifical Mission Society.

SANDWICH MAKING will take place
on Sunday 1 November 2026 after the 09h30 and 17h30 Masses. Donations of bread, jam, peanut butter and helping hands are welcome. .

at 09h00 in St. Bernadette Centre.
