Lord Jesus,
You walk with us, even when
we don’t see You,
even when we are tired, confused, or ready to give up.
Open our eyes, Lord.
Set our hearts on fire again.
Give us courage to stop walking away and to walk with You.
And like the disciples, send us back with joy to tell the world:
You are alive.

In the story of the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35), two disciples walked away from Jerusalem feeling discouraged and lost. Yes, unknown to them, the risen Christ comes and walks beside them.
At first, they did not recognize him - so focused are they on their disappointment and unanswered expectations.
Only in the breaking of the bread are their eyes opened, and they realise that Jesus has been with them all along.
This Gospel reminds us that Christ is often closest to us in the moments we least expect- walking with us in our struggles, speaking through His Word, and revealed in the Eucharist.
The challenge for us is simple: To recognise His presence in our daily lives.

Marriage Preparation - All couples contemplating marriage are kindly requested to complete a pre-marriage form from the Parish Office and to give Fr. Paul at least six months' notice. This allows sufficient time for proper marriage preparation and completion of all necessary documentation.
Infant Baptism - Parents wishing to have their children (under the age of six) baptised are kindly asked to contact the Parish office at least three months in advance. This allows time to prepare for and attend the baptismal instruction classes. Unbaptised children over 6 years old need to attend Catechism Classes.
