This Sunday we proclaim with the Church: “Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords”. (Rev. 19:16). His Throne is the Cross, and his crown is love. In the Gospel, Jesus promises the repentant thief, “Today you will be with me in Paradise” (Luke 23: 43), reminding us that his kingdom is a kingdom of mercy.
As we conclude the liturgical year, let us renew our choice to let Christ reign in our hearts, and may his reign of Love be seen in our daily lives.
