3rd Sunday of Lent Year A
“O that to day you would listen to his voice! Harden not your hearts"
In the Gospel (John 4:5-42) this weekend, Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well and speaks to her about “living water.” She came for ordinary water, but Christ revealed a deeper thirst within her- a thirst for grace, truth, and mercy.
Lent reminds us that we often return to wells that do not truly satisfy. Yet Jesus waits patiently for us, ready to fill our hearts with the living water of His love. When we allow Him to speak honestly into our lives, we will experience a change in ourselves. In a similar manner, like the woman who leaves her water jar behind, we too will begin to seek Him above all else.

​Catechism Classes are on Sundays at 08h30 and Confirmation Classes on Mondays at 18h00.
Bishop’s Lenten Appeal is taken up during Lent. The envelopes are available at the back of the church.

Young Adults Evening (Ages 19–35) will take place every second Thursday at 18:30– 20:30 in St Mary’s Hall.

Infant Baptism - Parents wishing to have their children (under the age of six) baptised are kindly asked to contact the Parish office at least three months in advance. This allows time to prepare for and attend the baptismal instruction classes. Unbaptised children over 6-year-olds need to attend Catechism Classes.
​Marriage Preparation - All couples contemplating marriage are kindly requested to complete a pre-marriage form from the Parish Office and to give Fr. Paul Beukes OMI at least six months notice. This allows sufficient time for proper marriage preparation and completion of all necessary documentation.
