Today, the church provides us with the opportunity to reflect on our spiritual progress. How is my relationship with Christ, the true vine? Have I borne any good fruit in Christ? Bearing fruit in Christ means growing spiritually and affecting others positively. We cannot be in Christ for years and still suffer from spiritual lethargy. No, there must be progress in our union with Him. The progress must be expressed in our trust in him, in our better knowledge of him, and our love for him and others.

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - registration has begun - please register on our website or contact the Parish Office. Classes start on 8th May 2024 at 18h00, in the St Mary’s Hall.
Healing of the Family tree Mass with Father Joseph Wilson MSC. Saturday 4th May 2024 starting at 08h30. No confession on the day. Preparation for this Mass is Based on Daniel 9:3. Blessing of Sacramental items will take place after Mass. Sacramental items will be on sale before Mass.
Men’s Prayer Service. All Men of the Parish are invited to a Prayer Service on the 11th May 2024 starting with Mass at 08h00.
1000 Hail Mary’s - 25th May 2024. Starts with Mass at 07h00 followed by the day’s program.

Society of St Vincent De Paul, Sandwich making takes place on 5th May after the 09h30 and 17h00 Sunday Masses. Food parcel packing will take place on 11th May from 09h00. The annual winter Blanket Drive has started, please support this charitable initiative.
Prayer for Elections
Lord, we the people of South Africa and all who live here, thank and praise you for your inexhaustible love and the graces of healing and peace you continually offer to us as people.
As South Africa prepares for the elections on May 29, send us your Holy Spirit to form the consciences of the voters according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that leaders may be elected who aspire for the common good of all people, and have the fear of the Lord in their hearts.
Mary, Mother of Peace, we pray for peace in our world; make us peacemakers.
